Components & APU Christchurch are on the lookout for an experienced Electrical/Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to support both Air New Zealand operations and our valued third-party customers. Our Components team plays a key role in maintaining the Airlines operational resilience while also driving revenue through external maintenance contracts.
Were after someone who is self-motivated quality-driven and comfortable working as part of a tight-knit team to meet OTP/TAT targets - always with safety and operational integrity at the forefront. Youll need to be able to deliver high-quality work within tight timeframes and adapt to the varied demands of the workshop.
Strong communication skills are essential as is the ability to build effective working relationships across the business. Youll bring a solid customer focus excellent time management and a good understanding of aircraft systems.
To be considered for this role youll need:
- A relevant trade qualification as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (or equivalent)
- Preferably experience in Electrical Component and/or Avionic Systems maintenance
- Demonstrated teamwork with a drive for achieving results
- Confidence working within a highly regulated environment
- A strong commitment to Health & Safety and our Safety Management System
- A mindset for Continuous Improvement and 5S practices.
