Job Summary
Our Outside School Hours Care service Ocean Shores Public School Helping Hands is looking for a passionate Permanent Educator (Responsible Person) to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 10-15 hours per week (guaranteed minimum).
You will work across split shifts to support the services operating hours of Monday Friday 7:00am 9:00am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!
About the role
Working in a team of Educators you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:
- Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM sport cooking art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents
- Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Who are we looking for
We can teach you about the job and sector but a few basics you need to have:
Enjoy working with kids
Strong and clear communication
Team player with a desire to become a service leader
Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (well pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
Australian work rights
Qualifications :
A relevant qualification to work with children as per ACECQA is a bonus
