Job Summary
Conduct regular HSE inspections on the construction site to verify compliance with the EPC contractors HSE plan and end-client requirements.
Identify hazards unsafe acts/conditions and issue corrective actions / recommendations.
Check implementation of PPE work permits lifting operations work at height hot works traffic management housekeeping etc.
Participate in incident / near-miss reporting and basic investigations as needed.
Prepare concise HSE visit reports for the Project Manager and follow up on action closure.
Qualifications :
Degree in Engineering or HSE-related field.
Minimum 710 years experience in HSE on construction / industrial / energy projects (renewables or power plant experience preferred).
Recognised HSE certification (e.g. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Good knowledge of international HSE standards and best practices.
Strong communication auditing and reporting skills in English.
Based in Oman or able to travel regularly to Sohar for site visits.
Additional Information :
Approx. 9-month assignment with site visits
