As a Showroom & PR Intern at H&M you will get the opportunity to spend time learning about our business and different functions while getting real-life experience working on current projects. Youll contribute to added customer value a strong brand and increased fashion perception alongside the Communications & Showroom team where you are involved in the upkeep of the showroom and supports PR projects.

You learn to support the PR & Communications team executing and maintaining the showroom to the highest brand standards. You learn to support by monitoring current trends and competitors and adapting it to the daily operational showroom tasks.

You help coordinate garment send-outs and keep garment stock to guarantee product placement and credits for H&M whilst elevating the brand.

As trainee you will achieve competences and experiences in:

Showroom maintenance and PR projects

• Supporting the team to execute on activity plans and create results by learning the daily upkeep maintenance and follow-up of the showroom in accordance with local and global guidelines.
• Supporting the Fashion team with coordinating local fashion samples.
• Supporting the PR and Communications team with local fashion PR activities primarily in the showroom to elevate the brand and the experience of the brand.
• Driving samples management including working with relevant systems optimizing results by proactively and reactively handling requests and send outs manage courier deliveries.
• Managing visual presentation in the showroom with current garments and products.
• Coordinating internal sample sales in accordance with our policy on purchases/lending products from showrooms.
• Driving general office administration duties e.g. couriers and showroom suppliers management.
• Monitoring fashion editorial coverage and integrating clippings into PRA and monitoring platform.
• Maintaining the garment stock in an orderly and organized way.

Networking & relationship building

• Contributing to build a network of H&M Ambassadors through learning to maintain and build strong local relationships with media influencers celebrities & opinion leaders
• Supporting the Communication team to identify maintaining and building the database of appropriate fashion journalist stylists influencers celebrities and other opinion leaders in the Sales Market.
• Attending relevant events as required both internal and external for networking and business purposes.

Qualifications
To be successful in the role as Showroom & PR Intern we believe that you are passionate about fashion understand the importance of community and relationship building with fashion insiders and have a great eye for content creation and understanding of the local landscape.

Additionally we see that you are:

• A student or recent graduate in Communications &/or Marketing
• Fashion background
• Fluent in both Italian and English both written and verbal and with excellent communication skills.
