Job Summary

Job Objective/Summary: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse is to provide professional care while assuming responsibility and accountability for a group of Emergency Department patients by providing direct and indirect care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team care that reflects initiative flexibility and responsibility with a minimum of triage safely rapidly and accurately every patient that enters the emergency care priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs as well as factors influencing patient flow through the with Emergency Department physician about changes in patients status symptomatology and results of diagnostic able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Job Education Licenses/Certifications Knowledge & Experience:Must hold an associate degree in Nursing (ADN) Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as an RN in the state of Arkansas. Must be ACLS PALS NIHSS and BLS certified. Strong knowledge of nursing principals practices and procedures. Compassionate patient-centered approach.
