MAKE AN IMPACT THAT MATTERS
Were looking for a detail-oriented and solutions-focused Electrical Engineer to join our Science and Technology team and contribute to the delivery of complex high-value projects across specialized sectors such as laboratories research facilities pharmaceutical manufacturing and mission critical this role youll apply your technical expertise to design and coordinate electrical systems that meet performance constructability and compliance requirements.
Youll be responsible for developing conceptual designs detailed specifications and technical documentation working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality cost-effective solutions. Youll participate in project planning and coordination meetings provide input to project schedules and help maintain design accuracy throughout all project phasesfrom concept through construction completion.
This role offers an opportunity to deepen your technical skills and gain exposure to sophisticated engineering challenges while contributing to innovative reliable and efficient electrical systems. Youll take pride in producing precise well-coordinated work that supports the success of projects at the forefront of science and technology.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Seasoned professional individual contributor.
- Delivers technical designs for projects of varying complexity that could involve technical complexity high project value and multiple
trades. - Independently creates conceptual designs design specifications and assesses constructability and does so on a regular basis.
- Independently develops standards and reports and can sign off on them.
- Assists in creating project plans participates in project planning and project management meetings and provides improvement
recommendations to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met. - Starts to peer review work of more junior engineers for conventional projects.
- Completes own work within budgeted hours.
- Ensures technical accuracy of deliverables.
- Accountable for all designs through to construction completion.
- Works independently in solving difficult and sometimes complex problems.
- Other duties as required
WHAT YOULL BRING
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
5 years of engineering consulting experience
Mission Critical project experience is an asset
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for design and documentation.
Forward-thinking eager to learn best practices and contribute wiht innovative ideas.
Good accuracy and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams including multi-disciplinary teams.
