We are looking for a Building Electrical Engineer Project Manager to support our Québec team which is highly active in construction and asset maintenance projects across healthcare institutional pharmaceutical industrial and public infrastructure sectors. These projects focused on sustainable development aim for carbon neutrality throughout their lifecycle.
Lead and coordinate all activities of a construction project including technical contractual and financial aspects (budget tracking cost control change management);
Ensure planning schedule tracking budget compliance and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle;
Coordinate multidisciplinary building design teams to meet client requirements;
Contribute to technical and financial proposals for various projects in collaboration with the administrative team and other disciplines;
Assess risks and propose optimal strategies for project success;
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a complex and stimulating environment;
Design and model electrical systems using Revit MEP and prepare plans for networks and systems;
Perform design-related calculations (loads protections wiring etc.) and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards;
Prepare reports and draft technical specifications.
Estimate project costs;
Conduct site supervision when required.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on building systems industrial projects or construction management (or equivalent training);
Registered as a Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in building electrical systems including project management experience;
Holds or is interested in obtaining CAPM or PMP certification;
Experience in hospital pharmaceutical and/or light industrial facilities projects;
Knowledge and experience in construction management and monitoring;
Demonstrated leadership organizational skills and results-oriented mindset.
Ability to communicate effectively in French (spoken and written).
