Youll work closely with people leaders and cross-functional teams guiding strategy leading projects and shaping culture. Your insights will help us tackle tough HR issues boost employee satisfaction and move the business forward.

This role reports to the VP Human Resources and can be fully remote or hybrid if youre in Toronto.

As a strategic HR Business Partner for Intelex you collaborate closely with people leaders to align talent strategies with business goals foster an inclusive and high-performing culture and drive organizational effectiveness.

1. Strategic Workforce Planning

Partner with leaders to anticipate future talent needs and align workforce plans with evolving business strategies. Support a range of workforce actions from ramp-ups and acquisitions to role eliminations and restructuring. Analyze workforce data to guide decision-making and optimize resource allocation.

2. Talent Management & Manager Capability Building

Empower managers with tools and coaching to select develop and retain top talent. Lead Organizational Talent Assessments and Talent Reviews and advise on development planning for key talent. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and COEs to support selection decisions and deliver training programs that elevate manager capability.

3. Employee Engagement

Coach leaders on strategies to build an inclusive engaged workforce. Analyze engagement data to identify trends and root causes co-create action plans and implement initiatives that boost retention productivity and morale.

4. Inclusion Diversity and Equity (IDE)

Champion IDE principles across all HR processes. Partner with leaders and COEs to foster inclusive environments promote diversity and embed equity into policies and practices. Support problem-solving efforts and deploy tools that drive inclusive growth.

5. Performance Management

Advise leaders on goal setting and the full performance management lifecycle. Provide guidance on feedback coaching and performance improvement plans to ensure continuous development and accountability.

6. Employee Relations

Guide managers on HR policies and best practices to cultivate a positive work environment and mitigate risks. Coach leaders through employee relations matters and collaborate with the ER COE on investigations and resolution strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Management function or other relevant experience
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products processes or services
  • Leads others to solve complex people and organization problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated impact across a range of clients business operations and leading cross-functional projects managing moderate risk resources and complexity; has delivered results letting broad guidelines and policies as a guide but using critical thinking skills to make decisions.
  • Trusted resource to people leader and HR colleagues and works well across the organization with cross-functional colleagues to deliver solutions.
  • Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with leaders to adopt a different point of view
  • Leverages data to make decisions.
  • Takes a hands-on approach with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated achievement for impact in coaching influencing and problem solving with various levels of leadership.
  • In depth knowledge of organizational design talent management employee relations compensation employee engagement change management learning and performance management.
  • Understands the drivers of business particularly SaaS environments.
  • Proven project management and execution skills with a track record of influencing through data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience working in team environment with multiple time zones.
  • Proficient in Oracle HCM systems
