Job Description:
Boeing Global Services is seeking an Experienced Product Analyst within the Digital Tech Ops team. The Product Analyst will focus on making our DTO organization more data-driven by analyzing and reporting on key metrics across our portfolio enabling product managers and cross-functional teams to make better product decisions. By combining strong analytical skills with knowledge of modern BI and product analytics tools the Product Analyst ensures that decisions of all levels are backed by timely accurate data.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and Track KPIs: Develop a unified metrics catalog of product and operational KPIs (e.g. user engagement retention release frequency incident rates). Establish clear definitions and targets for these metrics in partnership with Product and Delivery teams.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze product usage data to uncover patterns and illustrate how users utilize features and where they encounter friction. Conduct cohort funnel and retention analyses to identify drop-off points and drivers of user retention or churn. Translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for improving the user experience and product roadmap.
- Dashboarding & Reporting: Design build and maintain self-service dashboards for real-time visibility into key metrics (using tools like Looker or Tableau). Ensure stakeholders can easily monitor product health and team performance without needing technical assistance. Regularly publish reports and visualizations that highlight trends anomalies and progress toward goals.
- Product Experimentation Support: Partner with product managers to measure A/B tests and feature releases. Isolate the impact of changes through experimentation providing statistically sound analysis of outcomes. Advise on experiment design and ensure instrumentation is in place to capture required data.
- Data Quality & Pipeline Management: Work closely with engineering to ensure clean data pipelines (e.g. via Segment or custom ETL). Validate that event tracking and logging are accurate and consistent across applications. Implement data quality checks so that insights are trustworthy and up-to-date.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between Product Engineering Customer Experience and Customer Support for data needs. Partner with product managers developers and business teams to interpret metrics and answer ad-hoc questions (e.g. investigating a drop in usage or identifying popular features). Train and empower other teams to use analytics tools and understand metrics spreading a data-informed mindset.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Analytics Experience:2 years in a data analyst or product analyst role focusing on product usage or operational metrics within a software/SaaS environment. Proven ability to analyze large datasets and derive business insights.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases. Experience with a scripting language (Python or R) for data manipulation and automation. Ability to use notebooks (e.g. Jupyter) for deeper analysis.
- BI & Analytics Tools: Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports with modern BI tools (e.g. Looker Tableau Mode Power BI). Familiarity with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude or Mixpanel for event tracking and funnel analysis.
- Data Fluency: Understanding of key product metrics (MAU DAU conversion rates retention cohorts churn) and operational metrics (DORA FLOW). Able to define metrics that align with business goals and know how to measure them accurately.
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate data into stories. Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Effective written communication for documentation and reporting.
- Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally e.g. alongside product managers engineers or customer success to gather requirements and deliver insights. A knack for asking the right questions and guiding stakeholders to data-driven decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication able to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Statistical & ML Knowledge: Familiarity with statistical modeling or machine learning for predictive analytics (e.g. forecasting trends anomaly detection). Experience with A/B test evaluation regression analysis or churn prediction is a plus.
- Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehouse solutions (Snowflake BigQuery etc.) and using them to combine datasets from multiple sources. Some experience with ETL tools or writing data transformation jobs.
- Product Domain Expertise: Insight into user experience design or product management practices to better anticipate what metrics matter for user success. Knowledge of user journey mapping funnel optimization and cohort retention techniques.
- Tooling & Scripting: Experience using APIs or tools like Segment for instrumentation. Ability to write scripts to automate data pulls or report generation. Exposure to automation tools and a bias for creating self-serve solutions for repetitive analysis tasks.
- Visualization & UX: Skills in presenting data intuitively (custom visuals interactive dashboards). An eye for detail and design in how information is displayed making insights easy to grasp for decision-makers.
Education
- Bachelors in Statistics Computer Science Data Analytics Mathematics Engineering or a related field. Strong foundation in statistical analysis and experimental design.

- Up to 10% travel may be required for cross-site collaboration and product workshops.
