About the role
Our team atBrisbane Private Hospitalareseeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Grade 2 to join our Day Surgery Team on a full time basis as a Theatre Bookings Team Leader.
This position is responsible for the booking of elective and emergency surgical and medical patients into Brisbane Private Theatre Bookings Team Leader will work in close liaison with Visiting Medical Officers and the Hospital Coordinator / Bed Manager to capture bed availability and liaise with the Theatre Manager to ensure full theatre list utilisation and plan additional emergency theatre lists wherever possible.

Brisbane Private is a 181-bed Private hospital with 17 operating theatres surgical medical and rehabilitation units ICU and drug and alcohol rehabilitation services. Conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands specialist services include neurosurgery orthopaedics spinal plastics urology ENT Rehabilitation General surgery and delivery of Brisbanes leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.
Essential Criteria:
- Nursing registration with AHPRA
- Experience working as a Registered or Clinical Nurse within in a day surgery/acute care setting
- Periop and bookings experience (desirable)
- Prior leadership experience(Desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality patient care
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
