Job Summary

Linacre Private Hospitals Theatre Department is looking for a bookings officer! Join our administrative team in this permanent part-time position.
About the Role
In this position you will be responsible for the theatre bookings theatre scheduling and managing vacant theatre lists. You will cover our front office reception 1 day a week. You will be responsible for liaising with surgeons consulting suites pathology providers and all members of the theatre team.
The successful candidate will be able to build relationships engage and ensure open communication be flexible able to think on the run and mange numerous tasks at once.
We are offering up to 30hrs per fortnight for the right candidate. For the right candidate there may also be the opportunity to train in our front office administration team.
What Youll Bring
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a team of doctors nurses medical professionals administrators and non-clinical staff.
This role will suit an individual with proven medical administration experience.
Intermediate-advanced skills utilising the Microsoft office suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy
Previous experience in theatre or hospital bookings (highly desirable)
Experience using Patient Information Systems (highly desirable i.e. Meditech)
Certificate in Medical Terminology (Desirable)
Experience in hospital mainframe systems (Desirable)
A professional phone manner with experience managing incoming and outgoing calls
Proven ability to work in a customer service focused environment.
Remuneration
As per EA (Skill Group 8 Year 1)

Requirements
Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
According to the role Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
