Your opportunity
As the Project Engineer you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of building works for the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital project. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the planning and execution of daily site activities ensuring alignment with the projects scope schedule and safety requirements.
- Providing the construction team with technical advice including the interpretation of drawings specifications and design details.
- Monitoring and tracking project progress maintaining accurate site records and contributing to weekly progress reports and cost control.
- Collaborating with subcontractors suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery of works to the required quality and safety standards.
- Promoting and enforcing safety environmental and quality procedures in all on-site activities in line with both project and regulatory requirements
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- A bachelors degree in Civil engineering Structural Engineering Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Previous site-based experience on major building projects.
- Experience working on healthcare or hospital projects is highly desirable with an understanding of the complexity safety protocols and sensitivity required in healthcare environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies project documentation.
The Project
The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Redevelopment project involves the design and construction of new state-of-the-art hospital facilities to meet the growing healthcare needs of Western Sydney. The project includes a new hospital tower expanded emergency services and enhanced clinical spaces.
