Job Summary
Sr Transportation Project Manager is responsible for leading and orchestrating comprehensive peak period preparation strategies across the transportation network working closely with S&OP topology network design configuration teams in addition to transportation peak captains to ensure optimal network performance during high-volume periods.
Key job responsibilities
Lead medium and short-term peak planning initiatives aligning transportation capacity with forecasted demand
Collaborate with S&OP teams to develop integrated peak readiness plans across all transportation miles
Analyze and optimize network configurations and topology to meet peak period requirements
Ensure network connections and nodes are properly configured and ready for increased volume
Design and implement contingency plans for potential capacity constraints
Oversee capacity planning and resource allocation across various transportation teams
Monitor and assess network performance metrics to identify potential bottlenecks
Lead transportation peak readiness and war rooms meetings

- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- Experience in employee and performance management
- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Experience with VBA Python SQL or other database language
- Experience in project and program management
- Experience with operations/supply chain
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques
