Title: Technical Writer V - Hybrid

Location: Role is open to remote candidates; however Ideal candidates would be local to Palo Alto and able to report onsite in a hybrid capacity for 2-3 days per week.

Duration: 6 Months

Only W2 candidates are eligible for this position. Third-party or C2C candidates will not be considered

Description

Update existing documentation to reflect new features enhancements and changes to the platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering and Product Management to ensure accuracy and completeness in technical documentation.
Work closely with the other members of the writing team to ensure consistency in detail style and presentation.
Write high-quality technical content that effectively communicates complex information clearly concisely and without jargon

Experience and qualifications

BA degree in Technical Writing English Journalism a related writing-oriented field or equivalent practical experience.
At least 10 years of experience writing technical content.
Excellent English writing skills.
Experience documenting public cloud products Oracle and Kubernetes.
Skill using Oxygen XML Author or a similar product to create documentation in DITA.
Ability to manage documentation using Git and GitHub.
Experience working with CLI and Linux-like OS is a plus
