Job Summary

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities.

1. Performing functions include the following for corporate clients of allotted branches.

  • Checking of Facility letter and security documents.
  • Efficient & effective document customization with due liaising with internal & external stakeholders including clients.
  • Manage & comply with requests for waiver &/or deviation to standard template.
  • Creation of charges with respective Regulatory authority.
  • Due diligence and conformity check after document execution by client.
  • Supervise timeliness & accuracy on document execution.
  • Ensure loans are properly collateralized as per approvals.
  • Limitation Monitoring & Covenant Monitoring & tracking.
  • Collateral monitoring and tracking
  • Issuing conformity notice post ensuring all preconditions for limit loading are met
  • Monitoring of Early Warning signals/irregularities and excesses in the portfolios in close liaison with Relationship and Risk Teams.
  • Monitoring of Early Termination Options.
  • Loading and Authorization of Facilities/limits.
  • Past Due file review monitoring and monitoring of overdue Commitments.
  • Monitoring of Credit Proposals and overview of Watch list portfolio.
  • Preparation and Compilation of various reports.
  • Handling RBI Inspection and Audit requirements and queries in relation to credits.
  • Member of Functions Committee coordinating with Operations team for overview on Operational workflow and streamlining.
  • Managing business and credit risk to ensure there are no escalations

2. Loan administration

  • Safe keeping of credit documents by branches.
  • Effective checks on procuring periodic credit security information from clients viz. stock & book debt statements insurance policies stock & security audit etc.
  • Follow up security from the clients.
  • Manage and co-ordinate inspections & audits.
  • Carry out functions which have been delegated by management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Direct and manage reporting requirements for the department.
  • Supporting/ managing any other projects/ activities as directed by Management from time to time.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical:

  • Expertise in credit documentation is critical.
  • Excellent understanding of corporate banking products.
  • Good understanding of banking process & practice Legal and Regulatory framework.
  • Working Knowledge of other applicable systems within the bank.


Behavioral:

  • Good communication & presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Team player with client-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to act decisively and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task on job whilst ensuring efficiency.

Specific Qualifications

  • Graduate / Post-graduate / CA / MBA in Finance with min 5 years of banking experience in Credit administration of Corporate Banking.
  • Good Knowledge of RBI regulation with respect to credit monitoring and loan services & experience in handling auditors.

Education Level: Bachelors degreeor equivalent (3 years)

Experience Level At least 5 years
