Key responsibilities may include:
Accountable for the Safety of team ensuring safe work practices processes and rules are followed. Establish strategy for the development and sustainability of the safety culture within the Telecom team.
Perform effective safety audits and inspections of the Telecom Operations and track findings to ensure closure assist in investigation and root cause analysis.
Utilize Operations Testing and address unsafe work practices when employees perform their work in a safe and efficient manner.
Effectively lead a Telecom organization consisting of scheduled Foreman Electronic Technicians and Maintainers. Must understand the importance of maintaining good working relationships and foster an inward thinking culture.
Manage/coordinate planning operations maintenance installation and testing procedures for all Telecommunications systems including but not limited to: LAN WAN router data center equipment transmission systems (digital and analog) telephone systems voice and data radio systems trackside detector systems videoteleconferencing and multi-level office building infrastructure connectivity copper and optical fiber media for information transmission.
Responsible for expenditures to operatingbudget and ensuring all charges fall within compliance to company policies. Ensure operating budget is managed to the allocated amounts provided.
Daily work is conducted in an indoor/outdoor safety sensitive environment where the working conditions can include diverse and extreme weather conditions (hot cold rain snow and sleet) walking and performing work on uneven surfaces working around loud noises fumes and heavy/moving machinery.

Basic Qualifications:
Able to work in the US without company sponsorship now AND in the future.
Bachelors degree in Technical Business or related discipline AND/OR equivalent formal training/work experience.
Candidate should be self-directed motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills
Candidates should have the ability to communicate well one-on-one and in groups
Candidates should be safety-conscious and able to support and contribute to a strong safety process
Preferred Qualifications:
6years work experience in a telecommunications technical and/or operations environment.
Prior experience and knowledge in the complexity of BNSFs Telecommunication Infrastructure.
