Pre-Analytical Services Associate

We are seekingPre-Analytical Services Associateto join IQVIAs laboratory businessat Valencia CA.

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Support the receipt storage and shipment of clinical specimens to ensure accurate handling and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Assist with receipt and opening of consignments and shipments

• Conduct quality checks of patient information forms and escalate discrepancies to senior staff

• Dispose or recycle kit shipping supplies appropriately

• Perform secondary checks of shipping materials to ensure specimens are not left behind

• Prepare specimens for long-term storage or client shipment and manage sample disposition

• Respond to after-hour alarms and other critical job functions

• Maintain equipment and assist with inventory and workstation cleanup

• Organize work areas and perform administrative duties as requested by management

What We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Equivalent combination of education training and experience

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow

• Other Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequent standing and walking occasional sitting close eye work requirement (computer typing reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures

• Familiarity with specimen handling shipment protocols and inventory procedures

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and regulatory guidelines

• Effective communication and collaboration with coworkers managers and clients
