We are hiring a Clinical Lead to lead a nursing home in Wexford Ireland.
This position covers Monday to Sunday on a 39-hour work week schedule
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the provision of a high standard of care to the residents and families in Name of Unit is consistent with the mission vision values and strategic plan of the Nursing Home
- Develop relationships with residents which facilitates resident autonomy informed choice and evidence-based decision-making
- Promote and maintain resident safety and provide quality care by respecting the privacy dignity and rights of the resident
- Assist residents in maintaining their sense of identity and include them in decision-making whenever possible
- Ensure the Nursing Home is operated in a manner that respects the age gender sexual orientation disability family status civil status race religious beliefs and ethnic & cultural background of each resident
- Plan assess and deliver resident care that maximises the residents capacity to exercise personal autonomy and choice together with all members of the Multidisciplinary Care Team.
Requirements
Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience including experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in a nursing home.
Post-registration qualification in Gerontology and/or Dementia Care is highly desirable.
Proven clinical expertise leadership communication and organisational skills.
Strong understanding of clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
Eligibility to work in Ireland is required.
Must hold a full clean Irish driving licence and have own transport.
