Job Title: Program Manager / Project Director Hospital Billing (aIDX / Oncology)

Location: Remote (Some onsite work in Buffalo NY required)

Duration: Full-Time through June

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager / Project Director to lead high-impact initiatives focused on hospital patient accounting and billing operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex healthcare system projectsparticularly those involving aIDX and oncology or cancer hospital environments. This role requires a strategic leader capable of driving execution ensuring alignment across stakeholders and delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all phases of the hospital billing and patient accounting program ensuring timely delivery of milestones and objectives.

Partner closely with executive leadership revenue cycle teams and IT to align business goals and technical execution.

Drive strategic planning project governance and stakeholder engagement to ensure project success.

Oversee a multidisciplinary team ensuring accountability clear communication and risk mitigation.

Manage project budgets timelines and resource allocations effectively.

Facilitate decision-making and remove barriers to progress through proactive leadership.

Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for hospital billing processes oncology workflows and aIDX system functionality.

Develop and present executive-level status reports dashboards and outcome summaries.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience (7 years) in project or program management within healthcare revenue cycle hospital billing or patient accounting.

Strongly preferred: Experience working in a cancer hospital or oncology-focused environment.

Required: Hands-on familiarity with aIDX systems and workflows.

Proven ability to manage large complex projects involving cross-functional healthcare teams.

Exceptional communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.

PMP certification or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

Ability to travel occasionally to Buffalo NY as needed.
