Key Responsibilities
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational success of the dealership encompassing all departments (Sales Service Parts Finance and Administration).
Financial Performance & Operations
Develop and execute business plans sales forecasts and departmental budgets to achieve and exceed all financial and operational goals.
Monitor and analyze departmental performance identifying opportunities for increased efficiency profitability and customer satisfaction.
Maintain strict compliance with all local state and federal regulations as well as company policies.
Leadership & Team Development
Recruit hire train mentor and motivate a high-caliber team across all departments.
Cultivate a positive high-energy and ethical dealership culture that prioritizes employee engagement and customer loyalty.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide continuous coaching to drive professional development.
Customer Experience & Market Growth
Champion a customer-first philosophy ensuring best-in-class service throughout the sales and service lifecycle.
Oversee inventory management pricing strategies and marketing initiatives to maximize sales volume and market penetration.
Act as the primary representative of the dealership within the Goldsboro community building strong local relationships.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of General Manager or equivalent senior leadership experience in a high-volume domestic automotive dealership setting is required.
Demonstrated track record of achieving aggressive sales and profitability goals.
Deep understanding of all dealership operations including P&L management variable and fixed operations.
Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret and utilize key performance indicators (KPIs).
Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be a resident of or willing to relocate to the Goldsboro NC area.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
