Software Development Intern, UX & UI Design

Position Overview:

The UX & UI Design Intern will be focused on enhancing the user experience for a core feature of Bose Professional products. The Intern will be responsible for taking new product requirements and translating them into tangible user-centric designs. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact on user satisfaction and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Research: Perform competitive analysis to identify best practices and design opportunities.
• Ideate & Wireframe: Translate product requirements into user flows wireframes and low-fidelity concepts to explore design solutions.
• Design & Prototype: Create pixel-perfect high-fidelity mockups and build interactive prototypes using tools like Figma Sketch or Adobe XD.
• Refine: Iterate on your designs based on user feedback technical constraints and stakeholder input.
• Collaborate & Present: Work closely with your dedicated senior design mentor product managers and engineers and present your findings and final designs to the team.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate program in UX/UI Design Human-Computer Interaction Graphic Design or related field.
• A portfolio is a must. It should showcase your design process problem-solving skills and examples of wireframes mockups and prototypes.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma Sketch Adobe XD).
• An understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• A keen eye for visual design including layout color and typography.
• Good communication skills with the ability to articulate your design decisions.
• A proactive collaborative attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
