About the Role
Sheldon College is seeking a dedicated Education Support Officer to provide high-quality support to our Primary teaching staff and students. This role involves working with students individually and in small groups to enhance learning outcomes supporting classroom activities and assisting with preparation resources and administration.
You will play an important part in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment contributing directly to the success and wellbeing of our students and the effectiveness of our teaching teams.
This is a term time position commencing in 2026.

About You
- Certificate IV in Education Support and experience assisting in a Primary school setting.
Blue Card (Working with Children) required prior to commencement.
Current Senior First Aid and CPR certification.
Demonstrated ability to support students individually and in small groups to enhance learning outcomes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with staff students and families.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and comfortable using technology in the classroom.
Organised reliable and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with teaching staff.
Committed to fostering a safe inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Demonstrates a sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles and applies them to ensure a safe learning environment for staff and students.
Professional in conduct and presentation modelling the Colleges 4Cs Courtesy Consideration Cooperation and Common Sense.
Willingness to participate in professional development and contribute positively to the wider College community.
