The Analysis and Insight team delivers analytical support to Social Security Scotland across three professional specialisms Social Research Operational Research and Statistics providing evidence analysis and insights across devolved benefit delivery. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work with team leaders to support the prioritisation and management of work that informs decision making across Social Security Scotland.
The statistics teams in which this post will be based produce official statistics publications and management information as well as leading on a range of developmental work to meet the data needs of internal and external stakeholders. This post is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team and lead work to improve the business processes that are used to prioritise work and communicate progress to help deliver key business outputs.

Experience
Experience of collating a variety of data and/or information to support decision making including the maintenance and improvement of trackers using Excel or any other tool.

Working Pattern
Our standard hours are 35 hours per week and we offer a range of flexible working options depending on the needs of the role. We embrace a hybrid working style where all colleagues will spend time in either our Glasgow or Dundee offices. There is an expectation of a minimum 2 days per week in your assigned location which will be either Glasgow or Dundee.
