ASD Learning Support Assistant Barking & Dagenham Immediate Start
Were currently recruiting an ASD Learning Support Assistant to join a caring specialist school in Barking & Dagenham supporting pupils with autism and additional learning needs in a calm well-structured environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone patient reliable and genuinely interested in supporting young people to build confidence independence and life skills.
The Role:
Youll work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils in small class settings offering tailored academic emotional and practical support throughout the school day. Every day is different and every contribution makes a real difference.
Whats on offer:
24000 per year (not pro rata dependent on experience)
Term-time only
Full-time hours MondayFriday

About You:
Patient calm and empathetic in your approach
Interested in supporting pupils with autism and additional needs
Experience in SEN care or education is helpful but not essential
Confident working 1:1 and in small groups
Keen to learn develop and be part of a supportive school community
