About the role.

McCain Foods has an immediate opening for a Plant Manager in our AppletonWI Facility. The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall management direction and co-ordination of plant operations in carrying out company objectives at the lowest cost consistent with safety and quality requirements. We aim to delight consumers & customers with our food and nothing we do is worth getting hurt for.

What youll be doing.

• Oversee overall plant operations including safety finance manufacturing manufacturing engineering materials quality assurance / control information systems environment public supplier government and customer relations
• Ensures positive relations and a highly collaborate approach with internal/external stakeholders and community
• Proactively fostering and promoting the safe work habits of safety policies and procedures are followed
• Active participation in health & safety initiatives taking a lead role in safety optimization in the drive towards zero incidents. Leads positive safety culture and safety engagement
• Sets direction through setting strategic objectives for the plant accountable for achievement of plant performance objectives and setting direction and enabling a highly engaged environment through leadership practices and action planning Inclusion focused and in support McCains Winning culture and core values Family Authentic Quality and Trusted
• Leads and oversees cost commitments SCA Sustainable Cost Advantage overhead and direct cost budgets for each fiscal year championing continuous improvement through the active engagement of the plant team members in overall capability building
• Champions a growth mindset and Talent development focus for the facility leading key activities and ensuring targeted development and overall organizational effectiveness and ensures all departments are working together to realize McCain objectives
• Ensures audit ready compliance focused on food safety environmental policies site emergency preparedness and crisis management

What youll need to be successful.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree preferably in one of the following disciplines: Engineering Science or Business or a related field
• A minimum of 8 years leadership experience
• A minimum of 8 years food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred

About the team.

McCain Foods Appleton is a 24 hour 7 day a week facility with over 500 team members. It is our largest Snacking site in North America producing of 200M lbs. of appetizer products such as jalepeno poppers and mozzarella sticks each year. It also houses an on-site R&D Center.

Compensation Package:$146200.00 - $195000.00 . USD annually Bonus eligibility Long-term incentive eligibility

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education and training and other organizational needs.
