Job Summary
This role is for a Plant Finance Head responsible for end-to-end financial operations and performance oversight at the manufacturing plant level. The position plays a key role in financial reporting cost control budgeting compliance and business partnering with operations and leadership teams to drive plant efficiency cost savings and governance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and validate Opex provisions ensure accurate accounting of entries balance sheet GL review FSCP documentation and closure of overdue RGPs and GRNs.
- Prepare RMC spreads overhead rate computations inventory valuations and variance analyses; support the GMO Costing Team and minimize gaps between standard and actual costs.
- Track plant Opex performance against budgets analyze variances prepare plant-level MIS reports and present financial insights in monthly review meetings.
- Lead the Opex budgeting process for the plant incorporating operational savings and stakeholder inputs to ensure accurate and comprehensive plans.
- Support audits (statutory SOX cost and stock) by preparing required documents participating in walkthroughs and facilitating closure of audit issues in compliance with policies and DoA.
- Oversee pre-audit and vendor verification processes review purchase adherence validate scrap disposal transactions and drive accurate MIS reporting for these areas.
- Collaborate with plant teams to validate OE (Operational Efficiency) savings and provide analytical inputs to support cost-saving idea generation and performance improvement.
- Act as a financial partner to plantoperations by delivering timely and actionable insights monitoring key financial metrics and driving alignment between finance and operational objectives.
Qualifications :
Educational Qualification
Professional certifications such as Cost Accounting (ICWAI) Chartered Accountant (CA) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Management Accountant (CMA) ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or equivalent are mandatory.
Postgraduate in Finance Business Administration (MBA) Accounting or a related field is preferred.

- Experience in overseeing capital expenditure (CapEx) projects including financial analysis project evaluation and ROI assessments is desired
- Experience managing plant-level P&L responsibilities including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting for manufacturing operations is desired
- Exposure to managing working capital at the plant level with a focus on inventory management procurement and cash flow optimization is preferred
- Experience in statutory and internal audits as per the Companys Act is desired
