Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the planning execution and completion of construction projects under the guidance of senior project management staff. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and management of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Support project planning scheduling budgeting and resource allocation activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors vendors and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues implementing proactive solutions as needed.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including contracts permits and progress reports.
- Assist in conducting site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the project team to foster a culture of safety quality and teamwork on-site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management or related roles.
- Strong understanding of construction processes techniques and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. MS Project Procore Primavera).
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- 30-hour OSHA certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a proactive approach to project management.
