Our dynamic retirement livings team at Argyle Gardens Retirement Village in Bundaberg is looking for committed and passionate Hospitality Officer to join their dedicated and close-knit team on a casual basis.
Blue Care operate over 35 retirement villages across Queensland with more than 3300 residents choosing to make a Blue Care communities their home.
Reporting to the Village Manager you will be driven organised and take pride in your presentation and providing support to residents with the following task:
Undertake catering and/ or housekeeping services in accordance with designated role or roster.
Foster a professional working relationship with the village residents and team members and ensure exceptional customer service.
Ensure all equipment is used and stored according to manufacturers instructions and organisational guidelines.
Report any defects in equipment or other hazards.
Report any resident feedback and complaints and participate in resolution and quality improvement practices.
Ensure a safe environment for self residents and all other persons in the village by taking a proactive approach to health and safety by identifying risks and actioning remedies.

What makes a difference for us
Prior hospitality experience in kitchen or cleaning
Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation
Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
