The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking to employ casual Customer Service Officers to provide a high-level of customer service to NGV Members in line with NGV Service Standards and administrative support to assist the operations of the Audience Engagement department.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
You will be responsible for welcoming visitors to the NGV ensuring that visitors receive high quality customer service and assisting with ticketing and visitor management. Other key responsibilities include:
To be successful for the role you will be enthusiastic and committed to delivering quality customer service. You also have a current Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one. You will actively approach and seek to meet the needs of the customers by listening and looking for information needed to solve problems. You inspire trust by treating all individuals fairly and identify and propose practical solutions to improve customer service clearly explain information; listen to feedback and maintain a polite and considerate manner when assisting others.
Knowledge of the visual arts would be an advantage.
