Description
Job Summary:
The Registrar Services Specialist is responsible for assisting students in all phases of their academic program completion by providing assistance with the Registrars Office services.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Serve as primary person at front desk answering phones answering and distributing incoming emails and assisting visitors
Maintain and update student records
Assist with all registration processes
Provide graduation support and assist with commencement activities
Follow FERPA policies in all communication
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must have strong customer service perspective and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented for data entry and registration.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft 365 or related software.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.
Must be able to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems when implemented.
Must have a positive problem-solving personality and be willing to research answers to complex questions.
Education and Experience:
Must have a bachelors degree
Prior experience working with student records and registrar processes is desired.
A two-year commitment is requested
