Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
• Strong understanding of phonics early reading and foundational learning
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all pupils

Key Responsibilities

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging differentiated lessons across KS1 to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress providing effective feedback and setting targets for improvement.
• Create a positive inclusive and nurturing classroom environment that supports holistic development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum units share best practice and contribute to school initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to promote pupil learning progress and wellbeing.
• Take an active role in school life including professional development assemblies and extracurricular activities.
