Job Summary
David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a Network Administrator for their Gaming studios in Bogota Colombia.
Position: Network Administrator
Location: Bogota Colombia
Employment type: Full-time
Remuneration: Base salary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design configure and maintain network infrastructure to ensure reliability security and high performance
- Manage Cisco networking devices including switches routers firewalls and wireless access points
- Oversee daily network operations including monitoring troubleshooting and optimization to maintain uninterrupted connectivity
- Configure and manage wireless networks ensuring stable connections and security compliance
- Provide system administration support for Linux and Windows environments configuring network services and security protocols
- Diagnose and resolve network issues across routing switching and wireless systems using appropriate diagnostic tools
- Implement and maintain network security measures including ACLs firewalls VPNs and intrusion detection systems
- Ensure full compliance with internal security standards and operational procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or administration
- Strong expertise in managing Cisco networking equipment and wireless infrastructure
- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux system administration and network services
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN BGP and OSPF
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark PRTG Zabbix or Nagios
- Fluent in English and Spanish both written and spoken
- Flexible to work in rotating shifts within a 24/7 live studio environment
- Detail-oriented proactive and reliable with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
