Job Summary
Introduction
A leading international mining company based in Polokwane Limpopo is seeking a skilled HR Recruiting and Labour Relations Specialist to join their dynamic Human Resources team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in South African labour law recruitment and employee relations with experience in the mining construction or engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings interviews background checks and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions and ensure recruitment aligns with EEA and B-BBEE targets.
- Serve as the main contact for employee relations matters and ensure compliance with LRA BCEA and EEA.
- Support and participate in disciplinary hearings grievance procedures and CCMA matters.
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts HR records and reports.
- Manage employee onboarding exits and HR analytics (EEA reporting turnover recruitment metrics).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- 3–5 years’ HR experience in a Generalist or Labour Relations capacity.
- Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation (LRA BCEA EEA SDA OHSA).
- Experience in Mining Construction or Engineering is essential.
- Previous international corporate experience is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Indeed).
- Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Fully Bilingual
