Job Summary
Summary:
A leading manufacturer and distributor of window covering solutions for commercial and residential buildings is seeking a Technical Field Specialist based in Miami FL. This role will support customers across the Americas by providing expert technical assistance training and on-site support.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct both on-site and virtual training sessions for product lines including Roller Shades Honeycomb Roman Shades Vertical Blinds Panel Tracks Smart Drapes and MotionBlinds systems.
* Assist customers with the setup configuration and troubleshooting of motorized solutions such as Bluetooth Matter Thread and Bridge technologies.
* Facilitate customer onboarding through MotionBlinds Academy and other learning platforms.
* Travel to client locations (approximately 40%) to support product installation system integration and fabrication setup.
* Relay technical insights and field observations to internal teams to support continuous improvement of products and processes.
* Partner with Sales Operations and Product Development teams to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
* Participate in new product introductions industry trade shows and technical training events.
Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions training sessions and service activities.
* Develop and update user manuals training materials and digital learning content to support customer education and internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the window coverings or smart home technology industry strongly preferred.
* Ability and willingness to travel internationally; must possess a valid passport.
* Capable of reading basic wiring diagrams and using standard hand tools for service and support tasks.
* Bilingual in Spanish or Dutch is a plus.
* Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office products is highly preferred.
