Salesforce Project Lead
Part time/Freelance
Remote
Lead the migration from Redtail CRM to Salesforce for a rapidly growing financial services organization. This role will be responsible for architecture developing and deploying a robust Salesforce CRM environment tailored for financial advisors client service teams and operations staff.
You will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders advisors and technology teams to design and implement AgentForce architecture integrate data sources and ensure a seamless transition that enhances automation data integrity and advisor productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead CRM Migration: Plan execute and validate the migration of all client account and communication data from Redtail CRM to Salesforce.
System Architecture: Design and implement a scalable AgentForce architecture including custom objects flows triggers and automation aligned to financial services workflows.
Custom Development: Configure and/or code Apex Lightning Components Flows and integration logic to meet business requirements.
Integration Management: Connect Salesforce with custodians marketing tools portfolio systems and internal reporting dashboards.
Data Governance: Ensure high data accuracy and compliance with FINRA/SEC data retention requirements.
Testing & Validation: Conduct UAT QA and regression testing to ensure system performance and data integrity.
Documentation & Training: Deliver technical documentation architecture diagrams and user training for advisors and operations teams.
Ongoing Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements and automation opportunities post-launch.

Requirements
37 years of experience in Salesforce engineering development or architecture roles.
Proven track record migrating data from Redtail CRM Wealthbox or similar financial CRMs to Salesforce.
Strong understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud AgentForce and related data models.
Proficiency in Apex SOQL Lightning Components and Flows.
Experience with Salesforce APIs integration middleware (e.g. Mulesoft Zapier Workato) and ETL tools.
Familiarity with financial advisor workflows client onboarding compliance processes and data privacy standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills documentation discipline and communication abilities.
Preferred:
Salesforce certifications (Admin Platform Developer I/II or Application Architect).
Experience with WealthTech tools (e.g. Orion Black Diamond eMoney Redtail imaging).
Understanding of SEC/FINRA regulatory frameworks and data security best practices.
Experience working in agile project environments with cross-functional teams.
