Your Responsibilities as a Managing Engineer:
- Refine and implement the firms strategic and business growth plans for the Colorado Springs office
- Oversee day-to-day operations to achieve corporate objectives and ensure profitability
- Support regional business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities through networking proposal development and client presentations
- Strengthen and expand client relationships by delivering high-quality value-driven technical and business solutions
- Lead a team through all phases of project execution including planning design permitting and specifications
- Coach and mentor junior staff in technical skills client communications and project delivery best practices
- Other duties as assigned
What were looking for:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Colorado (or ability to obtain within three months)
- 20 years of civil engineering experience
- Experience in the planning design and construction oversight of water and wastewater infrastructure
- Proficient in project administration and contract management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple long-term client relationships
- Track record of business development marketing and implementation of best business practices
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
