Landscapes Golf Management and Palm Cove Golf are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Servers to join our team. The ideal candidates will provide exceptional service to our guests ensuring a memorable dining experience in a vibrant golf club environment. Must be at least 18 years of age by time of hire.
Palm Cove Golf began as a public course in a vibrant picturesque gated community welcoming golfers of all backgrounds. It once hosted legends of the game from Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer to Chi Chi Rodriguez each leaving a mark on our fairways. JOB SUMMARY
Attends to the service needs of club patrons in restaurant and dining areas in a courteous manner according to Company standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Take prepare and deliver drink and food orders for customers.
- Enters patrons orders into the computer verify accuracy of order collect payment when finished.
- Clears tables and attends to the general cleanliness of the dining area.
- Assists the chef with food preparation as required.
- Ensures the server station and bar is stocked and clean.
- Attends Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adheres to the Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service policy.
- Maintains professional appearance and demeanor. Adheres to club dress code always.
- Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the Company by being solution-oriented having positive interactions with all team members and meeting customer service standards set by management.
- Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
- Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Must have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service
- Excellent oral communication skills and interpersonal skills for building rapport with members and guests
- Wine and beverage service skills including proper opening pouring and presentation techniques.
- Can compute simple math and count change accurately
- Able to obtain a food handlers permit or certification.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Minimum 12 years of experience in food and beverage service preferably in a fine dining upscale restaurant or private club environment
- Experience with formal table service including multi-course dining and wine service preferred
- Certified Food Handler
- Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco training and/or certificate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Seeing and hearing: read documents computer screen answer phones communicate in person 50-100%
- Standing and walking 50-75%
- Climbing stooping squatting and kneeling 0-24%
- Dexterity: utilizing phone typing writing and Driving 0-25%
- Lift in excess of 25 pounds 0-24%
