Job Summary

Halter is transforming farming with world-first technology that enables farmers to manage animals and land more efficiently sustainably and profitably. Already a leader in New Zealand and Australia we are scaling rapidly in the United States and were looking for a Communications Lead to help us tell our story.

The Role
As Communications Lead USA youll be the driving force behind Halters communications in our fastest-growing market. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications (Auckland HQ) with a dotted line to the US Country Manager youll shape Halters profile through proactive PR compelling storytelling and effective issues management.

What Youll Do:

    • Build Halters profile across US media and industry channels.
    • Manage and direct our US PR agency.
    • Produce content: press releases media kits thought leadership articles talking points.
    • Provide media training and spokesperson preparation.
    • Anticipate and manage reputational risks with local crisis response capabilities.
    • Support internal communications and executive profile-raising.

What Youll Bring:

    • 10 years experience in communications PR or corporate affairs.
    • Strong media relationships and a record of securing high-impact coverage.
    • Experience with agency management and integrated PR campaigns.
    • Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
$130000 - $130000 a year
