Research Assistant II in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy(Ref.: 533648)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily experiments including animal studies (e.g. mice maintenance) in vitro studies (e.g. primary cell culture) and biochemical experiments (e.g. western blotting histological study PCR etc.)
- Collect and analyse data
- Prepare reports and manuscripts
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A Masters degree with at least 2 years of experience in biomedical research preferably in medicine biomedical science pharmacology or related disciplines
- Experience in obesity-related metabolic study (e.g. MAFLD and adipose tissue biology) and bioinformatics is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team
- Proficiency in using MS Office tools (Word Excel and PowerPoint) and Graphpad Prism
- A strong sense of responsibility
- Good organizational skills
- An excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English
What We Offer
The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
