This role is based in Dublin will support a team of Insurance Managers to ensure the efficient handling of all (Re) Insurance Programmes under management.

The Insurance Officer will assist in the provision of technical support and advice on insurance matters and to actively encourage the creative use of the captives on an ongoing basis.

We will rely on you to:

To fulfill this role the Captive Insurance Officer will under guidance from an Insurance Manager:

• Ensure that Reinsurance documentation is correct and in place in a timely manner and where necessary assist in the drafting and issuance of same.
• Respond promptly to Clients Insureds and Brokers queries on Reinsurance matters affecting captives under management.
• Assist in the placing of adequate Reinsurance protections and the monitoring of same on an ongoing basis.
• Manage premium claims and insurance premium tax data in captivemanagement system to enable preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
• Assist with the coordination of annual Actuarial Reports.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for board meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Insurance Premium Taxes.

• Accuracy with good attention to detail and ability to check work of self
• Ability to maintain a high level of client service delivery adapting to client requirements and ensuring that client satisfaction is consistently high.
• Ability to hit deadlines and exceed expectations
• Ability to be commercially aware and help wider business identify service gaps.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with senior stakeholders i.e. MD/CFO
