The Project
ACCIONA is a key delivery partner in Western Australias Clean Energy Link North project which is part of the states largest transmission upgrade to support renewable energy integration. The company is responsible for constructing approximately 27 km of 132kV transmission line installing 6.7 km of underground cable and completing 17 km of overhead line stringing along with significant substation and terminal upgrades.
The Role
Reporting to the Safety Manager the Safety Administrator will assist with providing key administrative support to the wider project team across all health and safety activities. A key requirement is to assist in health and safety reporting as well as the end-to-end coordination of a range of health and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard our people and sub-contractors through 3D Safety
- Promote a positive culture of health and safety awareness
- Ensure safety databases and records are accurate and effective
- Assist with preparation of safety documents as required
- Maintain and update HSE noticeboards site wide
- Support health and safety training and skill development
- Provide timely health and safety information to internal and external customers
Required Skills and Competencies
- Previous experience in an administration role within a fast paced environment
- Safety administration experience in a construction or similar heavy industry environment is highly regarded but not essential
- Safety qualification (desirable)
- Experience in 3D Safety would be highly beneficial
