ACHA Health - General Practitioner Liaison Officer
The General Practitioner Liaison Officer (GPLO) is responsible for developing new and strengthening existing partnerships between primary and secondary care within a strategically defined region. The GPLO is the key point of contact for GPs and other health professionals to drive private growth through the promotion of hospital services navigating access to services and improving communication between our hospitals the Specialists we work with and primary care.
Looking to commence position on 9 February 2026
Education & experience for success
Post graduate qualifications in marketing business nursing or similar (desirable)
Successful sales background with previous experience working in a similar role in healthcare pharmaceutical or medical device industry (highly desirable)
Ability to build strategic relationships and foster partnerships with GPs VMOs and allied health professionals
Well-developed computer skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation ability
Strong customer focussed mindset and displaying a can do attitude
Familiarity with data analysis tools
Ability to work independently as well as across multidisciplinary work environments
Results driven with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Understand profitability and drivers within the hospital environment
Stay updated on current industry trends
Understanding of hospital operations and performance indicators
Experience in a private health industry
Proactively identify any negative relationships and convert them into a positive one

Other requirements
Frequent travel will be required across hospitals and multiple locations across the state to deliver accredited education meetings practice lunches and meet and greet networking sessions attend industry events and participate in training and development programs. A full drivers licence and vehicle is required.
