We are looking for a Bin Auditor based at our branch in Christchurch.
In this role you will be responsible for undertaking daily bin audits and education of kerbside wheelie bins.
Key responsibilities will include
- Undertake labouring duties that may include loading unloading collecting and sorting of waste.
- Undertake and maintain a high standard of general housekeeping duties as directed and required.
- Complete all records reporting and paperwork accurately as directed and required.
- Prepare and operate plant and equipment in accordance with company procedures. To assist and support other staff as directed.
- Ensure daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment are carried out as required. Including assistance with cleaning.
- Maintain a professional image of the company and deliver high quality service at all times.
- Assisting in the cleaning and general maintenance of vehicles
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role
You will be physically fit and strong and able to work in wet or sunny conditions.
Our ideal candidate will have
- Class 1 drivers licence and experience in operating vehicles in congested areas; e.g. confident with reversing and going into narrow streets even with trailers
- Competent use of trailer
- High attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Understanding of operating procedures
- Self-motivated
- Have a strong Health & Safety focus
