Dumper & Roller Operator About the Role

Were seeking skilled Dumper and Roller Operators to join our site team on a busy groundworks and civils project. Youll play a key part in supporting the sites earthworks drainage and surfacing operations working closely with groundworkers machine drivers and site supervisors to maintain safety quality and productivity at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forward-tipping dumpers and ride-on rollers safely and efficiently.

• Work closely with the Site Supervisor and Groundworks team to move materials prepare surfaces and support daily site operations.

• Carry out pre-start and post-operation checks on all equipment reporting any defects immediately.

• Maintain safe working distances exclusion zones and traffic management routes.

• Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health Safety Environmental and Quality standards.

• Assist with general site duties when required including basic groundwork or tidying tasks.

Essential Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS card (Dumper and Roller categories essential).

• Proven experience operating dumpers and rollers on a construction or civils site.

• Good understanding of site safety ground conditions and safe plant operation.

• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.

• Strong focus on Health & Safety including awareness of vibration dust and noise risks.

Desirable

• Additional plant tickets (e.g. Excavator Telehandler).

• Experience working on large infrastructure or RC frame projects.

• Manual handling confined space or lifting-related training.

• SSSTS or equivalent supervisor qualification (advantageous but not essential).
