Manufacturing Engineer II

Location: Boulder Colorado

The Manufacturing Engineering position will focus on supporting sustaining optimization projects and qualifications. Responsibilities of this position will include project management validation procedures manufacturing job instructions execution of the validation compilation of reports coordinating of tasks and creating engineering change orders. The role will interact directly with the manufacturing operators supplier quality engineers operations quality engineers and design engineers to ensure proper qualification plan is followed.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Provide engineering support for our Polyhesive Pads and Cool Tip manufacturing lines ensuring optimal operation performance and adherence to policy.
• Manage changing priorities and respond quickly to challenges in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Design develop and improve manufacturing processes procedures and production layouts for product assembly equipment installation and material handling.
• Work closely with R&D Quality and other cross-functional teams to drive the integration of new technologies process changes and continuous improvements.
• Validate new components systems and process changes to ensure product performance quality and efficiency.
• Inspects performance of machinery equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
• Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes equipment and procedures comply with industry regulations and standards with a focus on maintaining safety and product integrity.
• Evaluate and disposition non-conforming material

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Designs manufacturing processes procedures and production layouts for assemblies equipment installation processing machining and material handling.
• Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
• Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
• Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
• Inspects performance of machinery equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
• Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
• Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree requiredand 0 years of experience.
