Job Description

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement public affairs activities that align with business objectives
Manage collaboration with key political stakeholders and represent Novartis in industry associations
Prepare briefings for senior leadership and develop position papers and policy briefs
Proactively monitor and analyze political and regulatory developments relevant to the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector
Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access Legal Medical and Commercial teams

Essential Requirements

Several years of experience in public affairs and policy on either corporate or agency side or within the government or administration; ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
Deep understanding of Austrias political and healthcare systems including regulatory and legislative processes and market access.
Proven ability to build alliances and engage with high-level stakeholders at both federal and regional levels including government parliament and the social insurance sector.
University degree in political science law communications public health or a related field.
Proactive solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)

For this position the minimum salary is 69.662 /year (on a full-time basis). In most cases the actual salary will be higher as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience qualifications and individual competencies.

We are open for part-time and job-sharing models and support flexible and remote working where possible.
