We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our dynamic team where precision and excellence are of utmost this role you will play a pivotal part in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. As a Quality Technician you will collaborate closely with various departments including production engineering and supply chain to implement effective quality control measures. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will allow you to identify potential issues in the manufacturing process and suggest improvements.
You will also be responsible for conducting tests and inspections on materials and finished products documenting your findings and reporting them to relevant stakeholders. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in quality inspection or applicable experience required. AS9100-C Internal Auditing certification desired.
- Strong and proven communication skills required. Familiar with AS9100-C Configuration Management experience desired. IPC-A-610 IPC/WHMA-A-620 J-STD-001 Certifications desired. NASA / Space Customer specific quality requirements desired.
- Basic familiar with a Configuration Management concepts practices and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents including drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and testing equipment such as calipers micrometers volt meters etc.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively convey quality-related information.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook Excel etc.) and other computer programs.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs from the floor to chest height.
- Battery experience is a plus but not required.
- High School Diploma required
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Responsibilities
- Quality inspection throughout the Manufacturing Process to ensure compliance with Process Specifications and industry specifications.
- Coordinate Return Material Authorization (RMA) analysis and repair process
- Coordinate DCMA Source Inspections
- Perform Internal Audits and support with Quality Management System and customer audits
