Serve as the primary point of contact for all Workday security and access-related processes within the bank.
Manage and implement security configuration changes ensuring compliance with established policies and governance frameworks.
Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate project requirements and determine appropriate Workday security modifications.
Oversee the process of granting access within Workday maintaining proper approvals and controls.
Support ongoing operations by troubleshooting and resolving security and access issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with Workday functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of security across modules and functions.
Participate in audits control reviews and risk assessments related to Workday security.
Provide guidance and best practices to business partners on Workday security standards and access management.

Bachelors Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience
In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify apply and implement best practices
Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function
Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices
Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex difficult or sensitive information
Preferred:
Broader understanding of Workday functional areas (e.g. HCM Payroll Finance) to better align security with business needs.
Prior experience in a regulated or financial services environment.
Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and implement best practices in security management
5 years of hands-on Workday security administration experience.
Strong understanding of Workday roles domains and business process security policies.
Experience managing Workday access controls and elevated access requests.
Familiarity with security compliance and audit processes preferably within a financial institution.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with multiple business units and technical teams.
