Role Overview:
As an IT Helpdesk Specialist at dopay you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the technology experience for our internal teams. You will be the first line of support for IT-related inquiries ensuring that systems remain operational and that users have the support they need to perform their jobs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely technical support and assistance to employees via phone email and in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues including network connectivity problems and system malfunctions.
- Assist with IT onboarding processes for new employees including the setup of workstations and necessary software.
- Maintain records of service requests and track their statuses until resolution.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve existing processes and implement new technologies.
- Ensure all IT-related inventory and assets are properly documented and managed.
Requirements - Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware and software particularly with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with basic computer networking and configurations.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others.
- IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
