About the Opportunity
William Clarke College is seeking an experienced innovative and dynamic Teachers Aide to join our Diverse Learning team.
As a Diverse Learning Teachers Aide at William Clarke College you will work under the direction of Diverse Learning Teachers and Classroom Teachers to provide appropriate care instruction and resources for students with identified needs across P-12 school years. This will involve collaboration with other members of the Learning Support team classroom teachers and other staff across the College.
This is a full-time term-time only position commencing Term 1 2026.
About You
Proven experience in supporting students with additional needs including physical mobility learning and language difficulties Autism emotional regulation and other difficulties.
Certificate III in School Based Education Support is highly desirable or relevant equivalent experience demonstrating a deep understanding of an Education Support role.
Adaptable to changing allocations and assignments to different students campus locations and work activities as directed.
Ability to empathise collaborate and communicate with College students and staff.
Understanding of professional boundaries appropriate to the role including appropriate communication and consultation channels.
Excellent organisational skills including the ability to monitor and respond to changes made within Individual Plans for students.
General capability across the Microsoft suite of applications as well as an ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems.
Maintain confidentiality and an understanding of the Privacy Act and its implications in the education sector.
Ability to undertake the duties of the position in accordance with William Clarke Colleges Purpose Values and Code Conduct
Regularly practicing member of a Christian Church
Valid Working with Children Check
